yarn store on Hastings with incredible selection and lovely staff. there's some fascinating lore about the store's original owner, Anna. ask about it whenever you drop by!

a store in New Westminster with wide selection of yarn and good prices. it's run by Paula, owner of BaaadAnna's, and Rebecca, who runs Wild West Dye, a naturally dyed yarn brand.

Atex Fabrics

A mid-priced designer fabric store downtown, that offers a solid selection.  They are also located near Dressew, so always be sure to check both before making a purchase

The Cloth Shop

quilter's paradise.  Located on Granville Island, this teeny-tiny store punches way above it's weight in terms of selection.  If you need to colour coordinate fabric for smaller projects, look no further.  They also offer a selction of pre-cut fat quarters, as well as colour coordinated stacks

Dressew Supply

discount fabric store with a massive selection of fabrics, as well as discontinued yarn and needles.  They offer a wide selection of haberdashery and notions, and enough discount sequins, rhinestones, et cetera to make a high school fashion designer's heart stop

fabric store in East Van that also offers a wide range of classes.  They carry more independent fabric producers, and so are a bit more in the pricier range
