Brittney Lyons

President

Knitting, Crochet, Cross-Stitch

Brittney is a third year commerce student at UBC. With over 5 years of knitting and crocheting experience, she brings a lot of knowledge to the club. When she's not studying or knitting or crocheting (which, if we're honest, takes up most of her time) you can find her reading, exploring Vancouver, or practicing yoga. Brittney strives to continue to provide a safe and welcoming space for the UBC population to learn the fibre arts and hang out.

Marguerite Fischer

Bella is a second year, majoring in English. She spends most of her time knitting and writing, and you can find her at meetings providing snacks and instruction in both knitting and sewing. The club is a place where she can relax and meet fantastic people, and she hopes to cement the club within the UBC community this year and take the club to new heights.

Megan Yeo-Poulter

Megan is a third year honors psychology student, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She loves knitting and cross-stitching, with a particular affinity for feminist cross stitch (and other not-your-grandma's-cross-stitch-type cross stitch). Megan loves all things Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, but don't get her started on the finale unless you're prepared for a meeting-long rant. She's also obsessed with Taylor Swift but don't worry, she'll tell you that herself.

Nadia Kovari

Nadia is in her fourth year at UBC and majoring in International Relations. She loves to explore rainy Vancouver, often frequenting the VSO and hipster pubs. To her, the club is a great place to let go while being productive and self-loving. Nadia hopes to be the friend in Knit and Sew that everyone needs.
